Testing Of Personal Care Products
This 3 day workshop is
designed for professionals working for companies, manufacturers of hair,
skin, and oral care, beauty, bath and other personal care products.
Prerequisite
(recommended): Have taken a basic course in sensory evaluation and/or have
worked in a sensory/consumer insights group, testing personal care products.

dimensions/issues affecting testing and research approaches of personal
care products; e.g., fragrance and other issues

and planning involved in testing personal care products. Challenges and issues:
People, nature of product, and product use.

Which
discrimination tests are appropriate for personal care products?

|
|

|
Descriptive
analysis for personal care products. Screening issues to consider.
Universal and product specific panels in the evaluation of personal care
products. General descriptive panel training discussions and issues in the
assessment of product appearance, fragrance, and feel/tactile properties.

testing approach

qualitative research techniques unveil?

products? Issues on questionnaire design

Course
participants are responsible for their own hotel accommodations.
The announcement of the
selected hotel will be made 6-8 weeks prior to the course. All preferred
hotels used for IRIS courses are within 10-15 miles from Newark Liberty
International Airport (NJ). Therefore, this is the preferred airport to fly
into.
